Footprint Podiatry Policies

  • Cancellation Policy
Patients who cancel their appointments with less than 24 hours notice, or patients who miss their appointments, will be charged a $30 cancellation fee.
  • Late Policy
Patients who arrive 20 minutes or later after their scheduled appointment have the option of re-scheduling or being seen as a walk-in patient. Walk-in patients will be seen as our appointment schedule allows and based on doctor's availability. Patients are seen according to the time of their appointment, NOT on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • Payment
Payment is expected at the time services are rendered, either in the form of a co-pay or in the case of self-pay, the entire cost of the office visit and any treatment rendered by the Podiatric physician. Acceptable forms of payment include VISA, MasterCard, Discover Card, accepted insurances, and cash. Footprint Podiatry does NOT accept personal checks. Debit cards with the VISA or MasterCard logo can be used in the same manner as credit cards. Footprint Podiatry reserves the right to exhaust any and all legal measures necessary to collect payment from patients in the event of default.
  • Conduct
Footprint Podiatry expects that each patient and/or parental figure (if accompanying a child) or caregiver will conduct themselves and associated parties in a respectful manner at all times in the office. We reserve the right to refuse treatment to any patient that we deem unruly and disruptive. We also reserve the right to ask the disruptive party to leave or to have the disruptive party removed by the appropriate authorities if necessary. Only two accompanying guests are allowed per patient.
  • Emergency Appointments
Footprint Podiatry will refer all patients who need an emergency appointment to their local Emergency Room. Walk-ins are welcome; however, walk-in patients will be seen as the appointment schedule allows and based on doctor's availability.
  • Children (without appointment)
No children under 10 years old are allowed as visitors into the office. Our office can quickly become an unsafe environment for young children. Patients under 17 years old must be accompanied by an adult who is able to sign documents for the patient.
